While thrilled to be a part of Robin and Lee’s wedding, when I knew it’d take place in Camp Lassen at the Boy Scouts of America’s 110 acre camp, I didn’t quite know what to expect. But, when I arrived on Sunday evening, even the wooden signs directing traffic down the long dirt drive had me excited for things to come. The time spent both in Taos, New Mexico, and at the camp itself in making the decorations and setting everything up was clear.
No detail was missed; from over 80 paper handmade roses and hundreds of paper flags cut from maps that could be found throughout the reception hall and at the ceremony site to polaroid postcards set out for guests ‘Blessings and Advice” for the couple and the Honeymoon Teepee set back from the main lodge, made me feel as if I’d stepped into a Wes Anderson film, but even better. It was truly an amazing experience celebrated by guests from across the country and even all the way from Israel!
They are a much loved couple and I wish them all the best!
